If you visit Syracuse (Siracusa), Sicily, in the summer, you will likely want to spend time at the beach!
On my last trip in June, the temperatures were hovering in the mid-80s; I was desperate for a beach!
There are a few places to swim on the island of Ortigia, but no “beach clubs” in the general area.
To visit the best beach club in Siracusa, you must travel 20 minutes to the coast and visit the Lido Fly Beach!

How To Get To Lido Fly Beach Club Siracusa
If you have rented a car in Sicily, getting to the beach club is easy! From the edge of the old town of Ortigia, it should take you approximately 20 minutes.
I did not have a rental car and couldn’t find public transportation to and from, so I relied on taxis.
There are NOT MANY UBERS in Sicily. We found one, and it took around 20 minutes to try the app to get one.
The ride there was cheaper, around 30€, but to get back, we had to take a taxi, which was more expensive, at 40€.
If you are a few people, it is definitely worth going by taxi and spending the whole day there.
But with rental car prices so cheap in Sicily, it makes more sense to drive there yourself.
There is plenty of free parking in the lot and around the area. If you are visiting in July and August, I would advise you to come early.

How to Book An Umbrella & Sunbed Ahead of Time
Before you go to this beach club, make your reservation, which you can do online!
These reservations are non-refundable, but you can purchase bad weather insurance for under 2 €.
See the sunbed map below, where you can choose from available sunbeds.

Sunbed Prices at Lido Fly Beach Club
In peak season, the price of the sunbeds is 20 per person. This gets you two beds and an umbrella.
These sunbeds do not come with towels, and they are not sold on-site, so it is best to bring your own!

Food & Drinks Prices
I found the prices for food and drinks to be extremely reasonable at Lido Fly Beach Club!
I ordered the traditional dish of Sicily, Pasta Norma, priced at 12.50€, as seen below.

It was delicious! I ordered an Aperol Spritz and paid 8€ for it. If this were Mykonos, where the prices are outrageous, I would have easily paid 20€ for the same drink.
Below is a screenshot of the English menus. For the rest of the menus, visit their official site.

Facilities & Vibe
On-site, there is a covered dining area, restrooms, outdoor showers, and changing rooms.
There is no pool on-site, but who needs a pool when you have the Ionian Sea?
There are lifeguards on duty at all times.
The vibe was chill, it would be suitable for kids, though there were none the day I visited.
The music was playing, but it wasn’t overly loud or disturbing.

The Beach at Lido Fly
The beach is clean and filled with golden sand! There are some rocks, but not too many when getting in and out of the water.
The water is fairly shallow and would be a great place for children to swim.

Alternative Beaches to Visit in Siracusa
If you would rather just hit the beach than go to the beach club, you can visit the small beaches in Siracusa.
There is a small area in Ortigia where you will find some golden sand and a place to swim.
It is called the Spiaggia di Fonte Aretusa, and is just past the marina.
There is also Cala Rossa Beach; a picture is below. It is very rocky, so I would recommend swim shoes if you want to visit this beach.

Final Thoughts
If you are looking for a place to spend the day lounging by the sea near Siracusa, then Lido Fly Beach Club is the perfect spot!
Given the prices and amenities, I would happily return someday! If you have any questions, don’t be shy and contact me!
